About The Band
"In My Tribe" was formed as a labor of love to honor American songstress Natalie Merchant, both as a member of the internationally acclaimed group the "10,000 Maniacs" and as a solo artist.  The name of the band comes the from the Maniacs 1987 album "In My Tribe" that contained the hits "What's The Matter Here", "Like The Weather", and "Don't Talk", just to name a few.  Every concert will weave it's way between Maniacs songs and Natalie's solo material, and between hits, hidden gems and other rarities.

AMY PORCHELLI - Vocals

MARK NEVEU - Bass Guitar
Mark has been holding down the bottom end for regional bands for over 45 years, and has been lucky enough to perform across the country from coast to coast and top to bottom.  In his spare time he’s looking for a great bowl of gumbo and that elusive record to fill out his collection.

STEVE KARETA - Guitars
The originator of the group, Steve spent time working with the 10,000 Maniacs in the 80's as part of their touring audio crew.  It was he who realized the lack a tribute show to Natalie Merchant and gathered this talented group of musicians together to fill that void.   With 4 CDs to his credit, he is an accomplished singer-songwriter in his own right, and has toured extensively over the past 20 years with his national tribute groups "Changes In Latitudes" and "The Eagles Experience".
